Our Story

Owatonna Shoe Co. opened in 1946, with Jim Brick as one of its first clerks. Jim became the owner in 1967. Tom Brick owned the business from 1977 to 2024. In 1981, the store was expanded to create a larger space for increasing inventory and customers. The business was purchased by Matt and Wade Jessop, who took over as owners in January of 2025. 

Owatonna Shoe is a specialty store; there are not many stores like ours around anymore. We have always been located at 121 N Cedar Ave in downtown Owatonna. We take pride in our ability to measure your feet accurately and listen to our customers wants and needs. We carry a large selection of men's, women's, kids, and industrial, shoes and accessories.
